A recommendation.

"Chad’s research in this God-given assignment has been nothing short of phenomenal.  His reading capacity, its amount and his grasp and retention together with his power of critical discernment, is extraordinary as testified both in the book itself and its bibliography."

God’s purpose for the Church, the body of Christ, has always been based on His call for it to be His salt and light in pagan societies.  Today we are living in a post-Christian, secular, humanistic world, where sadly, more so tragically the Church has increasingly lost respect and hence its right to be heard as God’s voice.

One area where the Church by its guilty silence has compromised and capitulated to the world’s standard, is that of Christian Justice.   Justice, true Christlike Justice, is a very weighty matter in God’s eyes.  Micah 6:8 states, “He has showed you O man, what is good.  What does the LORD require of you: (1) To act justly and  (2) love mercy and (3) to walk humbly with your God.”    These three requirements are inseparably related and must always work together.

Chad Waller, I believe, is one of those prophetic voices to this urgency of the disintegration of true justice.   I have known Chad since we were young men together in the same church in Chatswood, Sydney.  After many years, our relationship was renewed after my family and I returned to Australia. For 24 years my wife and I had lectured in an evangelical Bible College and Seminary in a strongly predominant Islamic country.  I have also served in pastoral ministry in Sydney for 14 years.  In my journey of serving the LORD, I have never known anyone personally who qualifies more fully as a true theologian than Chad, whom God has set aside as His special voice to confront certain evils of the present justice system and to promote the ongoing Reformation of the Church.  Chad has “fire in his belly” not at all unlike the testimony of the prophet Jeremiah as he states “. . . His Word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed I cannot.” Jeremiah 20:9.

I believe assuredly that the Holy Spirit has found His man to be His scribe in the writing of these books of Grace – Based Justice.   Of course, this in no way is as the inspired Word of God, the Bible, but it is a work where the authoritative Word of God through His servant resounds like thunder.  Over the years that Chad has been writing this very significant work, I have had countless telephone conversations with him as the volumes progressed.  As such, I know I have had a great privilege in being that proverbial  “fly on the wall”, page after page, chapter after chapter, volume after volume being written down as it poured out of a mind and heart, illumined and impassioned by the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit.  Almost without exception every time I put the phone down after our conversations, I felt a regret that what Chad had just shared, “straight from the horse’s mouth” had not been recorded.

Chad’s role as God’s spokesman is not just an academic one but one anchored in many personal traumas and experiences where he in his own confessed failures has experienced the injustice of the present justice system.  He speaks with authority because he is a man led by God and has been in the shoes as a victim of this atrocity.

Chad’s research in this God-given assignment has been nothing short of phenomenal.  His reading capacity, its amount and his grasp and retention together with his power of critical discernment, is extraordinary as testified both in the book itself and its bibliography.

I also believe that because on 31 October, 2017 we will be celebrating 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany, that Chad’s multi-volume series will have a direct connection to that momentous event adding a VITAL SIXTH SOLA of JUSTICE BY GRACE ALONE without the ongoing Retributive Punishments of the Law whether of God or man – to the great Protestant Reformation revelations.  It is my fervent prayer that this unique volume will indeed be a true “bolt from the blue”, to expose those evils in the justice system and see God’s true Grace-Based JUSTICE as an ESSENTIAL part of the larger Grace Revolution, be implemented for the glory of His name and the liberty of those victims of this present graceless and merciless justice system.
